Born in San Luis Potosí, [ Erick Alonso Moreno ] spent most of his childhood in Ojuelos de Jalisco. During his youth, he lived in Tijuana, Baja California, where he attended middle and high school. He currently resides in California, USA.

His music spans pop, alternative, folk, and Latin influences. Singing in both English and Spanish, he aims to connect with audiences across languages. Open-minded and creative, he explores unique melodies and rhythms while maintaining the authenticity and honesty of his music.

Music has been a significant part of his life since he was 10 years old. Though it initially played a minor role, his passion for music grew over the years, leading him to share compositions that reflect his emotions and experiences.

Inspired by artists such as Kevin Kaarl, Ed Maverick, Daniel Quien, Noah Kahan, BoyWithUke, BTS, Charlie Puth, Cuco, Alan José, Ivana, and Urboi, he launched the project "El Chico" with the ambition of reaching new heights in his musical career.
